When I use the data tool to load products, I only put the category that the product goes to in the spreadsheet, not the category description. But even if I select the data tool update option to add imported data and IGNORE DUPLICATES, the data tool is still wiping out my category descriptions. Not a problem except my user input descriptions for about 50 categories and I wiped them all out.
Do I need to input the category descriptions in every row of the spreadsheet in order to maintain these? Or is there a way to keep the category descriptions from being wiped out?
