Can someone tell me how the final GBP value is calculated in the checkout when customers are placing items in their basket in Eur? It appears once Paypal is selected from payment options and the 'proceed' button is clicked the website goes away and comes back with a GBP price when everything in the basket is in Eur. The exchange rate that this function is using isn't correct, so how do i change it? https://forum.kartris.com/Uploads/Images/35dc5942-e69b-4ce7-8847-e66f.JPG

In Kartris' backend you'll find Regional Setup/Live Currencies Rate menu voice.
The New rate column shows current rate of various currencies and that's the conversion value Kartris will use after you clicked Save button on page's upper side.

Also check the paypal settings in the payment gateways in the back end of Kartris.

All payment systems in kartris have a process currency setting. If blank, kartris will leave the order in whatever currency the customer was using (on a site with multiple currencies) and send it to the payment gateway in that currency.

So, if you have USD, EUR and GBP as options on your site, the order will go to the payment gateway in whichever of those the customer has selected.

But in many cases, stores will only have support for a single currency with their payment gateway. In this case, you may want to still offer customers the convenience of browsing in EUR or USD, but need to send the order to the payment system in GBP. Setting the process currency as GBP will convert all orders to GBP using the rate set in the currencies back end page within Kartris. Or you could convert all orders to USD, or to EUR, etc. This can be done on a per gateway basis, so if you have one gateway that supports multiple currencies and another that doesn't, you only need to set the process currency on the one that doesn't support multiple currencies.

When a process currency is set and the customer is using a different currency, Kartris will show a message at checkout just before going to the payment gateway showing the total in the customer's currency, and also the conversion into GBP (or whatever the process currency is), that is the amount and currency which will actually be billed at the payment gateway.
