I would solve it modifying the stored procedure that adds users... is there a "cleaner" way to do that?

Is it possible to set a Customer Group as default for users?
I'd like to make all user to belong to a customer group, automatically, without backend actions.
This should allow me to show some products only to logged users (settings the products visible only to that CG)...
