When purchasing the commercial license, can we list simple the domain and does that cover any subdomains?

For instance, if we purchase a license for sample.com, does that also cover www.sample.com and dev.sample.com?

The commercial license covers a single install, so subdomains would require separate licenses if they are separate installs. If it's a single install with multiple domains mapped to it, it will redirect to the preferred URL within the config settings anyway.
