On the product pages, under the Media section, we link to PDFs of some of the products. We would like these PDFs to open in a new browser tab/window. Is it possible to set this either per media item or site-wide? I can not see a setting which does this on the admin page.

You could modify the code behind for the page that shows the media and have that do a check for the extension.

All code for these pages is open source so it should not be a major problem to modify this.

I am not aware of a setting that would do this with the code the way it is already.

We are always willing to help out the community or pitch in to help you fix a problem. However, if you want a complete solution made such as a code module or new feature added you have two options. Either
1) Reach out to the Kartris internal development team at http://www.kartris.com/Contact.aspx.
2) Contact one of the Kartris approved partners at http://www.kartris.com/t-Worldwide-Developers.aspx.

Have fun and good luck coding.

Thank you for your reply. Could you expand upon the first line of your answer at all please?
