Kartris is using the Paypal Payments Standard process and by using the _xclick cmd option, it is in effect emulating a "Buy Now" button for the whole shopping cart. A few "simple" changes could be done to use the _cart and _upload options, this would enable the individual basket contents/products to be listed on Paypal rather than just "Order from [shopname]" . Shipping and Handling charges could be submitted to paypal as individual product items, any discounts might have to be accumulated/combined and submitted as the discount_amount_cart parameter.
