I'm trying to upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3.

I can find Kartris in the gallery in the web platform installer. But it is the old version.

How do I use WPI to install the latest version of Kartris?

This knowledgebase article will guide you through process of installing the latest version of Kartris through the Web Deployment Tool ->

v1.3 was already submitted to Microsoft for the web gallery but it can take several weeks for them to approve (as they conduct many tests on the software).

OK, I have successfully installed 1.3 using the "Web Deployment Tool".

But I cannot upgrade the database using the Data Tool, so I am stuck.

The error dialog appears: LayoutRenderer cannot be found: 'longdate'

I have also posted this in the Data Tool forum.

Please advise how to get round this.

I've been looking into the data tool - it works fine for me on 64bit so I don't think that is the issue. In a google search I found this where someone has the exact same error...

The kartris data tool does include NLog. In the post above the guy suggests that it was only an issue where the .net service pack 1 or 2 wasn't installed - do you have .net2 SP1 or SP2 on there?

I can confirm we have .net 2 Service Pack 2 already installed.

What can we do now to get this working?

Tx.
