This is not a datatool question exactly (in fact I've not even installed the datatool sorry), as I am writing my own SQL routine(s) to transfer the category/product/version etc information from an existing Cactushop database to Kartris on a development system, to get a better overall understanding.

The question is, where is the information from P_SpecTable(1-5) in the cactushop products table stored in Kartris - I am assuming this is not present AT ALL, but just wanted to confirm.

As, this data is currently "pre"formatted text in cactushop, I imagine that it would be difficult to add this into the product description language element and get it to display properly.

If my understanding is correct, and it's not available in Kartris, and the datatool doesn't migrate it, then it would be a suggestion to re-introduce this (optional feature) to prevent data loss.

We have encountered this ourselves. I think what we'll do is add the P_Spectable to the product description, with marked DIVs around it. We've had to do this manually for a couple of site's we've upgraded, so it is on the list of updates we want to do to the data tool. It's just a question of getting the time to do it.

Ok, I look forward to a future release then :-)I would suggest you do mark it - id on div - so that it can be styled accordingly.
My additional problem, is that some of the product spec's are PREformatted while others are full-html (long story..a consequence of adding a rich-text editor to the spec), so I also have a flag on the product to denote if I publish with or without the "pre" styling.
