Anyone able to get the email to work on a godaddy shared hosting account? I can't seem to get this working.

You need to ask their support guys for details of which SMTP server settings to use to send email from an ASP.NET web site. There is nothing special in Kartris, it's bog standard .NET as far as sending mail goes.
