I have found that the link to JQuery is at the bottom of the template file. I have moved it to the top so that JQuery is available at document ready. Is there any known problem with having JQuery at the top of the page please?

Not sure to be honest... we based our positioning on that which Zurb uses in their sample Foundation 5 files where jquery is near the bottom. They seem to know jquery pretty well to create Foundation, so I assume there is some reason they place it there, but I guess if moving it works there should not be any harm in it.
