Not sure which part of the code is interfering, but I've tried two different jQuery plugins, last one being http://www.elevateweb.co.uk/image-zoom/download and I can't seem to get them to work as a mouseover zoom for main product image. Interestingly enough, in a test html file with just the image section of the page it works fine. The trouble is once I incorporate it with the template that it just does nothing. I'm not sure what is interfering with the code.
Please advise as I have a customer awaiting this feature...

With a lot of work, we were able to implement the jquery zoom jqzoom. Besides the jQuery compatibility, we had to work it out in the imageviewer to enable all the thumbnails to reload large views and then zoom them. If anyone else would like to implement this functionality, I'd be glad to help out.
