I have an image I wish to use as the background for the site but after changing the css (template.css) I cannot get the image to display.

I have tried placing the image in a number of locations, the root, the /images folder within the skins folder but all with no success.
The strange thing is though, when I apply the correct css code and inspect using Firebug the background value is set to NONE even though the css is right- how could this be?

Hi, are you sure you are changing the correct CSS file? Make sure you use the one for the skin you have selected.

Yes, I've made changes to parts of the CSS and this is showing up on the site but the standard background change is not showing any difference

For some reason it is working now. I didn't change the code but 2 days after I changed the CSS it is now working. Perhaps it was a very delayed cache issue?
