Client would like the images to fade, not side
i have reviewed and tried changing the settings found reviewing the documentations @ foundation with no luck
Any help would be appreciated

From what they're saying, fading is back in Foundation 4.3. We'll probably hold off until Foundation 5 before upgrading Kartris with this, but you might be able to upgrade your foundation files in Kartris from this if fading is important to you. It looks like the way they implement it is to set a transition class in CSS, and then use that to style transitions - that might be an HTML 5 feature, as it's not something I've seen before.
