I am currently developing a new website within Kartris v2.5, this will replace an older but current site developed in cactusoft v6.
Naturally before the new site goes live, products will need to be populated. If using the data transfer tool, are there any items I will need to check and amend? IE images, text, links etc
What about product versions?
My aim is to setup the products in a temporary website so that all problems can be corrected. Then set up the new live system within the domain and copy the data across. This should help reduce the time the main website is closed for the setup operation.
Also can the url names be changed to the same urls within the cactusoft v6 version? This would save setting up thousands of redirects.
