Dear freekartis members,

With our development reaching the half way point we are pleased to announce a FREE mobile commerce web app builder for the IPhone, IPad and Android phones:

http://www.mobi-cart.com/

MobiCart is a free app that can work as a standalone application or by using our API can be linked up to any 3rd party shopping cart.

With the launch date approaching we wanted to see if any members would be interested in integrating freekartis with MobiCart.

Any integration would be credited to the developer and be featured on our App Marketplace which is also launching soon.

Thanks again,

Wladimir

This is not a technical issue. Valid XHTML and CSS mean sites will render fine in all modern browsers.

I've moved this thread to "Suggestions forum", where it is more appropriate.

From what I see of the Mobi-Cart platform it appears to be able to create iphone or android apps for navigation of items for sale, rather than just relying on xhtml pages.

A mobile interface for Kartris using XHTML is something that is on our roadmap for the future but i'll be interested to see how Mobi-Cart works when its released.

Hi Neil & Mart,

Thanks for getting back to me.

@Neil - Yes Mart is correct, this is not a mobile theme but a native mobile application.

@Mart - Thank you and will keep you both posted.

Thanks again,

Wladimir

Recently I encountered Contus M-Comm something very similar to the one mentioned in the post.

Contus M-Comm is readymade solution provider for building mobile applications for eCommerce stores. It is compatible with all major ecommerce platforms and 100% customizable.

Right from push notifications, payment gateways, promotional mechanisms like subscription, deals etc, multiple language support, multiple currency support, Contus M-Comm has all that is needed by your Ecommerce mobile app.

Find out more about Contus M-Comm @http://www.contus.com/mobile-commerce.php

Drop in your details in the contact form for a free consultation or requirements. We’d love to hear it from you

Seems a bit pointless when Kartris has such great mobile support built into a web interface - no need for potential customers to install apps. I have an Android and Windows phone and I'd never install an app just to be able to use an ecommerce website!
