Sure enough, I changed the permissions from inheritted to read/write for upload and images and now am able to access the admin backend without incident.
I appreciate your help.

Yes it sounds like a permissions problem. Most hosting has a control panel like Plesk where you can change permissions on directories if not contact your host?

I checked there but no error file is in that folder just the read me. I don't think my host server is allowing any write permissions to my folders including the error folder. I received an error during installation saying something to that effect and also had to upload my web.config manually..
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance..

You can view the error log here
\Uploads\Logs\Errors\
If you post the error log someone may be able to help further.

Hi, I was able to install kartris without incident. The front end appears to be working without any problems, but when i go to Admin/Default.aspx the login screen appears initially, I enter my uid and pass and then I get Error! An error occurred. The system has written a log file entry.
I gather that this is the default error screen. Not sure where to go from here any suggestions?
Thanks,
Todd
