Hi guys, I've been asked to order the products on the category page but can't see where I can set this.
Is it possible to position a product first in the grid at all?

hi everyone, sorry to be a pain but has anyone had this arise before? My client is getting really anxious now and badgering me every 30 minutes for 'the update'

You can set the sort from the category ('sort products by'). One of those setttings allows you to sort products into any order - in this case, the products under the category in the back end have small arrows appear so you can move them up or down.
You can also set categories and products to have their items use the global sort settings (if you want everything on the store sorted the same way)
