Hi
I am struggling with the Data Import Tool. I am trying to import a product list of several thousand lines comprising
Product Category (Single Category)
Product Manufacturer (Multiple Manufacturers)
Product Model Mumber (Multiple Model No's - duplicates need to be supported)
Product Type (Multiple product types - Duplicates essential)
There is no pricing or other detail required for this exercise.
Whilst I can import the data, where there are multiple AND duplicate product types (Which are in fact lengths, e.g. 13", 17cm etc.) The import tool only brings in the 1st instance, leaving all subsequent Manufacturers and Manufacturer Model Types without a corresponding Product type (length).
e.g. Toshiba,Modelxyz1,13" imports ok, but the Toshiba,Modelxyz2,13" only imports Toshiba,modelxyz2 - NO PRODUCT TYPE.
I appear to be able to create these manually via admin, can I do this via the import??
Also - is there any Documentation on this import tool as it seems a fairly rudementary requirement.
