We often see our images hotlinked - a watermark feature would be cool so people can't do so without seeing our website url.

I think this would be a great thing to add, I know we discussed it quite a while back.

I think it would be relatively easy, since all the images are displayed via an asp.net script which handles resizing etc, so if could be added at this point. We could either just use the site url, or would could have a config value so that you can set custom text to appear on it. Would also be good to have settings to control the position and transparency/colour of the text.

I think would also need to set the images folders for products, categories, versions, etc. to not have read access to the outside world, otherwise people could link to the source images directly rather than to the image.aspx handler file that displays them.
