In Google webmaster tools they allow you to edit your sites url parameters to 'help us crawl your site more efficiently, saving you bandwidth and boosting the overall number of unique pages Googlebot can crawl'

I have attached a screen grab to see the parameters we have available to edit.

I am pretty confident I could work out the settings for most of them, but I would hate to get one wrong and remove pages from their index. Can a definitive list of the correct settings be posted somewhere? I am sure this would be of interest to everyone using Kartris.

Cheers!

I think most if not all of them are not really necessary, because there are friendly URLs that don't feature any parameters which can be indexed. Some are used within iframes to call the large image views, but again, it should not be a huge issue if google doesn't get these.

I know people who block their images folders in robots.txt to stop google grabbing them all for google image search, because that can suck down bandwidth, and I'm not sure most sites get any benefit from having people being able to find the images on google.
