Not at present, but it is on the development timeline. Ideally I guess it should show version image if there is one, if not, fail over to the product image.

And images for promotions/cross sells would be good/have been request from CSv6 customers

Carl, images on related products and promotions are already supported in Kartris as of 1.1006 (current version).
In the case of promotions, an image can be uploaded for each promotion separate from the item(s) that make up the promotion. This is done for a couple of reasons. A promotion could link multiple items, so it's not necessarily obvious which one the store owner might want displayed. Secondly, a store owner might want to add something extra to the graphic used for a promotion (stars, extra text, etc.).
We are working on adding an image column to the basket, that should make the next release hopefully.

I've uploaded version images for a number of my products, but when viewed in the basket the product image shows instead of the vesion image. Is there a config setting for this?
