I changed configuration setting Italian as default language and English as secondary language of site; I'm using default skin; I imported language pack supplied on K's website using Data Tool, now Italian is language with ID 1 and English has ID 2...
Is all right but in some pages as Search page or Contact or Wish List pages it seems that frontend menu doesn't keep the default language and switches temporarely to English language to turn then back to default language in other pages...
How can I fix this?

To be honest, it use english language in all pages except category, subcategory and product pages...
Suggestion?

Solved after reinstallation without overwriting english language.
Please delete this:
"If you wish to set your store to the new language by default (rather than adding it as an extra language), edit the 'English' record with your new language's details, and then use the steps below to import the language pack to that language."
