My computer setup is Windows 7, IIS 7.5, SQL Server 2014 express, VS 2013, Net Framework 4.0 & 4.5

I could not install from platfor installer so am now trying the manual way; as per user guide.
Step 1 to 4 are ok.

In step 5 the gude says:
"To find users on this database, open up the 'Security' folder in SQL Management Studio and then 'Logins'. If you don't see 'IIS APPPOOL\.net v4.5' (or whatever the name of your app pool is), then you need to add it. If you see the user there already, you can skip to the next step. Otherwise, right click on 'Logins' and type the name of the app pool into the dialogue, then 'Search'. Another window appeals, and you need to enter 'IIS APPPOOL\.net v4.5' again into the box here. When you click 'Check names' you should see the text change, hiding the IIS APPPOOL part. This indicates that it is a valid user. OK everything, and this new user should now appear under 'Logins' in the treeview."

So now I need to add "IIS APPOOL\.net v4.0" user. I have installed Framework 4.5 but it does not appear in iis, only 4.0, so i selected this as application pool.

In SSMS i do not see any user staring with "IIS APPPOOL" or ".net 4.0". So itried to create login "IIS APPOOL\.net v4.0" but it keeps saying "... user not found".

I know I am doing something wrong - please help.

I managed to reinstall to the point where it starts to load WebMatrix and then I get the following popup error:
"The site "Kartris3" does not exist"
Any help please?

I see the database "KartrisSQL246" installed from above installation. Right-clicking this in SSMS and then selecting "Permissions" shows "KartisSQLUser246".

However; I do not see Kartris folder in inetput\webroot.
