Is the shopping cart supposed to work on smart devices like Android? I tried 4 different browsers and none of them worked when adding a product to the shopping cart, it always said cart is empty. I have not tried iOS yet, is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Not aware of any issues on Android. I used an Android phone until recently, my wife has Android on hers and also tested on iOS and Windows Phone.
Try reverting to the default skin; have seen some strange behaviour which has turned out to be related to things in skins people have created - either certain font plugins or just HTML bugs.
