While the Promotions system in Kartris is quite impressive, there doesn't seem to be the option to have a pure product discount.
In our industry, it is common place to have a Price List (referred to as List Price) but then sell some products at a percentage discount.
I would love the option to assign a percentage discount to a certain product and for the front end to display not only the discounted price but the List Price also such as:
Price: £13.45 Your price: £10.76
Could this be implemented?

It's possible to achieve a similar result by setting the RRP value to the 'old' price, and then setting the actual price to the new discounted one. You can turn on RRP to display this and calculate savings at checkout too.

Thanks for the reply Paul, while this would sort out the issue of showing both prices, it would mean manually working out the discounted price and adding it into each product, rather than putting in all the products at List price and then assigning a 20% discount that the system then works out.
nopCommerce has this very option and I was all set to use it before stumbling across Kartris!

You can mark down prices in bulk from the Kartris back end (using the mark-up prices feature, with a negative discount). The filters there let you specify the range of products to apply it to. So you can still put in the prices at list price, and then apply your 20% discount using the mark-up/down tool.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply, the Mark up/down tool does not quite do what I want it too, while it does indeed allow me to take off 20%, it is a permanent change, by which I mean it changes all the product prices to a new value.
This would be fine except that sometimes, a discount may change on a certain product, we may decide to only give 15% discount rather than 20%. By using the mark up tool, we would then have to re-input all the original list prices to apply the new discount.
