I am dealing with 100,000 products with images. The images are named using the SKU. I am trying to figure out the best way to deal with importing them into the database. When I use the data import tool I get an error. There seems to be a problem with the tool in that I am unable to select a destination path. When I click the browse button, whether it is source or destination, I only have access to my local computer's files. So I leave the destination blank and then I get this error: Could not find a part of the path '\Products\24\\01_images/productimages/web_123624_usn_tif.jpg. Does anyone have any input or suggestions?

The data tool cannot directly import product images to a remote site. But it can do the renaming and filing of images, so the right file/folder structure is created for the product images on your local computer. This can then be FTPed up to the live web site.
