Hi,

I'm currently testing a shop and I've changed the default currency to EUR and the culture to en-IE but I always get a message telling me

The actual amount in the transaction currency: £nn.nn

The amount is the same regardless of currency - i.e. €50 changes to £50

This line shows if the payment gateway is set to convert the amount to a particular currency before payment.

For example, your site may be set up to give users the choice of USD, EUR and GBP pricing. But if your payment gateway only supports GBP (or your account there does), then you can set the 'process currency' of that payment system within Kartris to GBP. In this case, the amount in other currencies will be converted to GBP during checkout and this is the value that will be sent to the payment system. This value will be shown clearly as well as the original total in the user's chosen currency, just to make clear that a conversion has happened and the user will actually be billed for the GBP amount.

If your payment system does support all the currencies you have set up on the site, or you only have one currency, you can set the process currency setting for the payment system to blank. In this case, Kartris will keep the amount in whatever currency the user was using, and pass it through to the payment system along with the currency code (if required).

To check the payment gateway settings, go to Regional Settings > Payment and Shipping Gateways in the back end.
