I've been working on a Kartris V1.2 site for months now that is near finished bar the uploading of products.
However, there are a couple of shipping niggles that are apparently fixable if I upgrade to the 1.3 version.
I take regular backups of my database in my web host control panel which saves the data in a .bak file. Is it possible to use the data tool on these files to import into a fresh installation of Kartris 1.3? I'm assuming they're just flat text files.
My plan is to test on a Win 2003 development server and use the MS application gallery tool here which is currently installing V 1.003 and then use the data tool to import the database backup made under V1.2 format. Is it possible to do this using an SQL .bak file?
