Is there a data design/schema somewhere that I can look at?
If not, I'm basically trying to import some products/product categories through the database without having to go through the UI. Does anyone have any insight on how the tables correlate? Right now I just need just basic product information and product categories.
As well, I tried the data import upload just using the exampledata.xls (and the CSV as well), and after I select it, the text box where my file is supposed to show is blank and everything else on that window is grayed out. Even if I hard code the path to the file, everything is still gray. I am on Windows 7, so I'm wondering if that might be the issue.
So, if anyone can help with either the data import issue or send me a way or SQL scripts to add in product data, that would be great.
Thanks!

Also, for this data tool--apparently it's working fine on Windows 7 32-bit, but I haven't been able to get it to work on my Win 7 64-bit. Has anyone else had the same experience? My description of what happens is in my message above.

I have the same above issue. I am running the DataTool on Windows Server 2003 SP2, have also tried it on WinXP SP3. Has anyone found the solution?

Can you confirm that your issue is problems on 64-bit O/S, but that 32-bit is ok?

No incorrect, I was refering your original post about the issues you are experiencing with importing from a .CSV file. I have the same problem as you.
I am running 32-bit OS.
